Echizen Gani Crab
Nationally known Echizen Gani Crab, which is the king of winter, is male snow crab caught in Fukui Prefecture. On a leg of Echizen Gani Crab, a yellow tag is attached as a proof that was caught in Fukui. And it is known as crab which has been presented to the Imperial family. Each year, the fishing period of Echizen Gani Crab is from November 6th to March 20th of the next year.
