Beautiful Prefectural Flower of Fukui [PR for Fukui]

The scenery of the prefectural flower of Fukui, Echizen suisen (narcissus) blooming along the coast is one of the seasonal traditions of winter in Fukui Prefecture. We will introduce the activities of Fukui Prefecture which supports for Echizen suisen's production and sales to keep the scenery with the flowers.

Visitors can enjoy viewing the flower of winter, Echizen suisen (narcissus) throughout the year in "Suisen Hall" at Cape Echizen.

The beautiful narcissuses fields are usually located on mountain slopes, so older farmers have hard time working there. To help these older farmers, Fukui Prefecture sought volunteers from Fukui and the volunteers replanted the flower bulbs of narcissuses.
