Saburo Toyoda is a Japanese painter especially known for landscape oil paintings featuring ceder trees. He was 101 years old at the time, and spoke about the purpose of life as a commemorative lecture in the Rotary Club's Intercity Meeting held in 2008 in Fukui City.
