Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum Field Station

The Field Station opened in July 2014 at the excavation site where new dinosaur fossils such as Fukuisaurus, Fukuiraptor and Fukuititan were discovered. You can experience dinosaur fossil excavation while looking closely at the layer where the dinosaur fossils were discovered, and the fossilized footprints. Also, you can listen to explanation about excavated fossils by the researchers of the museum.
