Iris flower festival at Fukui Daianzenji temple

For shooting and reporting, I went to the Iris flower festival.

The area was so beautiful and peaceful.

There were several groups of people.

Everyone was cheerful.

Pre-school and elementary school students were especially very cute and lovely.

Iris flowers were blooming gracefully. There was also a rose garden and the roses were blooming elegantly.

After walking up the mountain, 4meters of graves for each generation feudal lord, there are sitting quietly

and almost proudly.

In this grave area, 1360 Fukui stones called Shakudani Ishi were put together skillfully.

I did my first report in my life. I think I really like reporting.

Life in Fukui

I introduce model 610 this time.
It's said that this train had been active in Nagoya Railway before.
This train was operated on commute time zone because it was equipped with long seats.
This train has been active in Fukui Railway now.

NOODLE or NOODLES?

2015.06.14

Random thoughts

“CUP NOODLE” is one of popular long-selling food in Japan.
But I have always felt doubt about the trade name in English.
Because it should be described as NOODLES in the same way as ones sold abroad.
In fact, the plural form doesn’t exist in the Japanese language.
So I’m afraid Japanese people would learn English mistakenly.
I hope they will correct the name for domestic as well.

A debut work!

A few days ago we went to Daianzenji, a well-known zen temple in Fukui city, to shoot footage of "Hanashobu-Matsuri (Iris Festival)",

and also to "Senjojiki", the graveyard of Matsudaira family, within the precincts of the temple.

And Ms. F, our staff member narated in English for the first time there.

Though she looked a little nervous in the beginning, she made a very good debut!

Full report will be uploaded later, don't miss it.

Sparrow

I sometimes take a walk nearby Central Park.
When I passed through the park this morning, I heard sparrows were chirping as usual.
It occurs to me that I feel like I no longer saw much as before the sparrow.
Looking back now, although it seems like I know about sparrow I don't know anything.
