Lovely view! “The pond of Monet”

Places to visit

Recently, an unknown little pond in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture
suddenly has begun to attract much attention.
Because it is said that the scenery which the lily pads and
the pretty lotus flowers float on the still water looks like
a famous painting “Water-Lilies” by a French impressionist painter Claude Monet.
Springwater from a mountain flows into the pond constantly,
so the water is always clear-blue and you can enjoy the fantastic beauty.
I would like to see the view with my own eyes sometime. (H.S)
