The Todd family visits "Senko-no-Ie" (the oldest samurai house in Fukui)

An important national cultural asset
Senko-no-Ie (the oldest samurai house in Fukui)

The residence of Tsubokawa's, Senko-no-Ie was built around the end of middle ages.

It is located in Takeda district, Maruoka Town, Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture.

The house has never been relocated since it was built, so it is an existing valuable

old folk house in the country. Todd, who moved to Fukui from America, and took up

farming, visited the Senko-no-Ie with his family.

Let's see how Todd and his children who grew up in America saw the house and felt about it.
