Visiting an Echizen pottery studio Mishogama | Spring new work exhibition, May 12th-May 31st, 2020

The personal exhibition of an Echizen pottery artist, Satoko Shindo is being held at her own studio called Mishogama, from May 12th to May 31st, 2020. We visited there the day before the exhibition starts. She explained about her works.

The container for mosquito coil is one of her new works. Each design is different. All of them have seasonal flower design.
She takes countermeasures to prevent coronavirus such as when two visitors come in the exhibition, the next visitor waits for entering at the outside bench or the visitor can see around Echizen pottery village while waiting, offering disinfectant, and accepting cashless payment (PayPay).
