The annual spring plant dyed goods exhibition by Masao Ishikawa, who is a plant dyer in Fukui, is being held at Fukui Kougeisha Craft Gallery. Springlike thin cloth works are exhibited there. Ishikawa told us about carved board clamp-dyeing technique, that it took one year to make the invitation card, he was invited to an event held in Paris last year and did a workshop, which were interesting.
