The exhibition of Keisuke Katayama, who is a Saori weaver and severe autistic, and his mother Ikuko Katayama, is being held at Fukui Kougeisha Craft Gallery located in the center of Fukui City. (November 15th to December 1st, 2019) They created the works together like Ikuko decides yarns, Keisuke weaves and Ikuko combines the fabrics that Keisuke wove. All the various works are beautiful and attractive.

 


The powerful work made for a publicly sponsored exhibition stands out.

 


The varied works made by using Sakiori (torn yarn-woven fabric) technique

 


Pretty clothes with patches of waste cloths of Saori weaving are new works for this exhibition.
