We saw the Creative Doll Gallery "Reimei"(The dawn) at Echizen Bamboo Doll Village.
Mr. Morota explained us about the dolls there.
At the beginning, they used to make practical bamboo crafts. Later, there was an exhibition in Toyama Prefecture, and they brought bamboo dolls from Fukui. In 1963, Tsutomu Mizukami published a novel "Echizen Bamboo Doll" and it became more popular.
Mr. Morota said that this doll was one of the ultimate bamboo dolls. They took advantage of the long nodes, although it was so difficult.
It is one of the highlights of the skill.
This is also one of the ultimate bamboo dolls. The hair was implanted with thin bamboo sticks. The number of the sticks are 7000 and it took
over several weeks to just implant hair.
Mr. Morota, doll creator himself explained about the doll that he made.
