A submarine paper craft is in the middle of the exhibition gallery

The world under the sea appeared in the gallery?! The exhibition of Echizen Washi (Japanese paper made in Fukui) Paper Crafts, “Paradise under the sea” has been held at Fukui Kougeisha Craft Gallery by a formative artist and paper craft modeler, Mr. Hidenobu Naito of “Godzilla Studio”. The cute sea animals which look like real ones were designed by an illustrator/paper craft designer from Tsuruga City, Mr. Ryo Tokisato. Mr.Naito and Mr. Tokisato are the “golden couple”. The one which stands out the most at the exhibition was a submarine paper craft made by Mr. Naito. He mainly makes large paper crafts and he had made a submarine which people can actually ride. I interviewed Mr. Naito who always liked submarines since he was s child.

A formative artist and paper craft modeler, Mr. Hidenobu Naito talked about the submarine paper craft.

It felt as if I was under the sea when I looked out the window of the submarine paper craft.
