Yamada says “I hope that I can work hard on creating bamboo dolls eliminating destraction in the calm environment in the forest of creation. I dream of creating works which become synonymous with bamboo dolls by bamboos, not other themes, from such an environment. And I want to value a relationship with the town people.”
Recently, his works called “Tokigatari”, which expressed the season, have become popular.
Materials of Tsutomu Mizukami which Mr.Yamada collected are exhibited in Taisho Roman Pavilion in Awara Hot Springs.
He visited Tsutomu Mizukami, who wrote the novel "Echizen Bamboo Doll" and began their interaction.
