Technique of forming melted glass at high temperatures in soft condition

Glass blowing: forming melted glass by blowing into a blowpipe
Kiln working: forming by heating in a gas or an electric furnace
Lampworking: forming by torch or lamp

Technique of forming glass after cooling
- Common techniques of cold glass work -
Sandblasting: spraying fine sand grains on glass surface and scrape off the part
Etching: depicting pattern by decaying glass surface
Cut glass: depicting pattern by cutting glass surface with a grinder
Stained glass: creating painting or pattern by putting various colored glass pieces together
