Hiking in the mountains in Fukui -Yasha-ga-ike pond-

We went hiking to Yasha-ga-ike pond which is famous for its autumn leaves on October 29th, 2015. We ascended from Fukui Prefecture side.
We drove to Imajo area from Fukui Prefecture side which is on Japan National Route 365. We reached a parking area which was the starting point of the hiking course after driving though a forest road from Hirono dam. It was about 2 hours' walk from the starting point to the pond. As soon as we arrived at Yasha-ga-ike pond, it started getting foggy and it blocked our view. The scenery at the pond was changed into a mysterious one with the fog appearing which was perfect for the theme of the story of Yasha princess.
