World-class Satoyama in Fukui #3 [PR for Fukui]

There are many organizations which act to protect Satochi-Satoyama in Fukui.

In the third of the series, we will introduce the interactions between

the organizations and the people who live in the local area.

In Kawada district, there are many kinds of living things and we can feel

the plentiful nature closely. The group which act to protect the environment of Kawada is

“Commune with the nature in Kawada”. On that day, they conducted an event to observe

wild birds and other living things with Kawada elementary school students.

Through these observation events and camping, they convey the participants

the importance of Satochi-Satoyama.
