World-class Satoyama in Fukui #6 [PR for Fukui]

“World-class Satoyama in Fukui” in which we have been introducing the conservation activities for Satoyama in Fukui Prefecture in series, here in the final one, we will introduce the international convention and the events for the convention conducted by Fukui Prefecture.

For the convention, Fukui Children's Environmental Education Forum was held too.

The participants from all over the world visited Mikata Five Lakes, which have registered under the Ramsar Convention.

On September 13th and 14th, the international convention was held.
From over 30 countries, about 100 people participated in the convention.
They discussed about how to protect and grow Satoyama.
