In this video, you can enjoy the cherry blossoms in Mt. Asuwa and the weeping cherry tree in Asuwa Shrine thoroughly.
The cherry blossoms in Mt. Asuwa and a pagoda
The pagoda of peace in Mt. Asuwa was built in 1959. It is a symbol of longing for peace and recovery. Because Fukui was suffered from big disasters such as an air raid in 1945, the great quake in 1948, and the floods later. India's Prime Minister Nehru presented Buddha's ashes to Fukui and they were put into the pagoda.
White-eye in Mt. Asuwa
It is difficult to watch wild birds actually but in this video, you can do a cute white-eye pecking at the cherry blossoms closely. Also, Great tit and bulbul can be seen.
Weeping cherry tree in Asuwa Shrine
In the evenings, the illuminated tree is more beautiful. It is a big tree of weeping cherry which is 370 years old.
