Echizen Asakura Mantoya Candle Night 2015

In late August, "Echizen Asakura Mantoya Candle Night 2015" was held at Ichijodani Asakura Clan Ruins in Fukui City. On that night, the ruins are lit up by 15,000 candles.
In the summer of 2004, Fukui City suffered enormous damage from the flood disaster by the torrential rain. Since then, it has been held as an annual event in gratitude for the great help from all over Japan, and not to forget the disaster.
